Equal Car Insurance Premiums for both sexes
Experts predict that car insurance premiums will rocket for women by up to 25% after the legal ruling banned sex discrimination in financial transactions.
The EU has ruled that on December 21st 2012 it will be illegal to charge different insurance premiums for girls and boys.
Insurance firms will be unable to differentiate between young women and men drivers even though women are less likely to be involved in accidents and therefore have in the past been able to receive cheaper motor insurance.
But on a more positive note for boys their premiums should become cheaper.
